We’re happy to inform you that BrainPOP is now part of PS 133’s daily curriculum and that your family has FREE unlimited home use. Our school has purchases a complete subscription to this award-winning online resource, providing content-rich videos in every subject!

Email your child's teacher for login and password information.

BrainPOP provides animated, GLE-based content that engages students. Hundreds of topics within Science, Social Studies, English, Math, Technology, Arts & Music, and Health are all brought to life through short, animated movies and related interactive quizzes, timelines, charts, writing/vocabulary activities, graphic organizers, and much more.

Because BrainPOP is delivered entirely online, there’s nothing to install or download. You can use BrainPOP resources on any home computer or laptop with internet access! Your membership also includes access to the following:

• BrainPOP home page for all students in every grade.
• BrainPOP Español provides BrainPOP movies/content in Spanish/Espanol.
• BrainPOP Jr. is designed especially for our Kindergarten – 3rd grade students and addresses a wide range of grade-appropriate topics. Just for our younger students, each animated topic has a movie, leveled quizzes, games, activities, and lesson ideas. Everything is read aloud, so young students can browse the site and watch movies on their own!

Your child’s subscription to Brain POP will remain active during school hours and at home! Our students now have access to all movies, quizzes, and interactive resources online.

Raz-Kids

All students and families at PS 133 now have free access to two great online reading resources, KidsA-Z (RAZ) and ReadingA-Z.

These reading resources offer more than a thousand leveled books in English, Spanish and French, for kids to read at home, at school or on the go!

KidsA-Z(RAZ) offers interactive reading on a PC, tablet or phone. Kids can follow along as a text is read aloud in English or Spanish. To log-in to KidsA-Z, download the mobile app form Google Play or the Apple App store, or visit www.kidsA-Z.com. Log-in with the individual password provided by your child's classroom teacher. Please note that RAZ is an activity kids can do, and enjoy doing, on their own (they earn points for every book they read, so it's kind of like a game).

Reading A- Z

Reading A-Z offers downloadable, printable versions of the same books in English, Spanish and also French. There are also worksheets and other printable resources. To download printable books, log-in to www.readingA-Z.com with the password provided by your class parent. Select "Resources," then "Leveled Books" to select English titles. When you highlight a book's cover, you can navigate to Spanish and French translations of the same text. To go directly to all Spanish or French books, select "Resources" then "World Languages." Reading A-Z is really a resource for teachers and parents, and while many kids enjoy assembling the books with a parent, it's not something they can do on their own.
