Lights of Joy Holiday Festival

PS133 is thrilled to welcome members of the community into our school to celebrate the holiday season on Saturday, December 6th from 2 - 6PM. 

 

What to look forward to: 

• Collect toys and books that your family is ready to pass on; bring them in the week of December 1st  
• Volunteer the day before, or the day of. Sign up here. 

 

 

• Everyone is welcome — you don’t have to bring a toy to take a toy.
• The goal is to share, declutter, and give toys a second life!
  
• Bring toys the week beforehand, or on the day of

Toy Guidelines

• Bring items that another child would genuinely enjoy receiving
• ✅ Clean, gently used, and in good working condition
• ✅ All pieces/parts included
• ✅ Appropriate for ages 2–12
• ❌ No broken, dirty, or heavily worn toys
• ❌ No electronic toys without batteries included
• ❌ No plush toys unless new with tags
• ❌ No violent or toy weapon items

We'll be playing The Polar Express on loop in the Auditorium. Don't miss your chance to get a golden ticket! 

 

St. Nick's Story Voyager is an impressive 40-foot-long mobile lending library that will be parked outside PS133 from 2 - 5:30PM! The flagship of St. Nicks Alliance’s literacy initiative, the BK Story Voyager, provides children and families at local schools, after-school centers, and community events with inspiring experiences that spark engagement with books. We're thrilled to welcome them to PS133. 

 

Thank you to local restaurants that will be providing delicious eats from many different cultures the day of!
